Porcupine Bay Road reopens after 2 years of construction | News | khq.com

LINCOLN COUNTY, Wash.- Porcupine Bay Road reopens after years of construction on Monday.

Today a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the road. The area is a popular location along the Spokane River for boaters and campers.

About 2 years a landslide wiped out the road. And reconstruction of the road was not only expensive, but had several set backs.

However, the campground will not reopen until Memorial Day. There is a chance the docks may open sooner.
