GREAT FALLS – Firefighters quickly tackled a lightning-sparked fire before it could spread Saturday afternoon.

Both Manchester and Sun Prairie fire departments were on scene after receiving the call around 3:25 PM.

The fire only grew up to 10 foot by 20 foot before crews put it out, according to Sun Prairie Fire Chief Nate Curtis.

The flames have since been contained.
