In the clip, Meghan discusses female empowerment and voting in the upcoming US election with activist Gloria Steinem. The Duchess of Sussex has been outspoken on the importance of voting over the past week. Her comments on voting in the US election come after she and Prince Harry stepped away from the Royal Family in March this year.

Trending Meghan interviewed Ms Steinem in the back garden of her new home in Montecito, California.

In the midst of the interview, Meghan’s dogs Guy and Pula entered the frame.

As they wandered next to Meghan, Ms Steinem said: “She wants to be on camera.”

The Duchess then bent down to pet her pair of pups, before returning to the interview.

She added: “What worries me the most are young people, who I understand are the least likely to vote and I can understand the feeling that they don't think they have an impact.

“Yet, it's more important for them to vote than anyone else because they're going to be alive long after I am, and they're going to be suffering the consequences.”
