Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes Phil Foden will be an incredible player for the next ten years after continuing his impressive run of form with a goal and assist against Liverpool, indicating that he won't rush into the transfer market this summer to bring in a new attacker. And ten minutes later, Foden got his goal after playing a neat one-two with Kevin de Bruyne on the edge of the area before smashing past Alisson Becker.
It was just his fifth league start of the season, with three of those coming in the last five games.
Guardiola has faced hefty criticism as a result of his limited playing time, while some speculated that the youngster would be pushed down the pecking order with the arrival of new faces this summer.
