Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta needs to look to revamp his squad in the upcoming summer transfer window and offload some of his senior players, because he clearly can't trust them. That's the opinion of ex-Arsenal player Stewart Robson, who thinks Arteta has lost faith in Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's ability to perform for him. Arsenal have had a turbulent return to action after the Premier League season resumed.

The Gunners lost back-to-back games in their first two games back in a major blow to their Champions League qualification chances.

First, they were beaten 3-0 by Manchester City, before squandering a lead against Brighton in a 2-1 away loss.

But against Southampton on Thursday the tide appeared to be starting to turn for Arteta's side.

The Gunners looked much more confident and put in a significantly improved performance on the south coast, with Eddie Nketiah and Joe Willock bagging the goals in a 2-0 win.

Arsenal have a busy summer transfer window ahead of them, with Aubameyang potentially on his way out of the club, and Lacazette wanted by multiple teams around Europe.

Ozil, who is yet to play since the restart, is still being linked with a move away from the Emirates as well.

And Robson believes the Gunners boss will have to make some difficult decisions in the upcoming window, because he clearly doesn't trust his senior stars.
