Here are WWE Monday Night Raw results for June 15.

With WWE Backlash in the rear-view mirror , Monday Night Raw continued several narratives involving the top stars in professional wrestling. All the champions retained their titles on Sunday, but that does not mean the angles with their challengers will stop there. Plus, there was a major return on Monday Night Raw that pushes the future in an even more intriguing direction.

Kevin Owens has had his hands full with Andrade, Angel Garza and Zelina Vega. That continued Monday when Owens faced off against Garza yet again. The animosity between Vega, Garza and Andrade continued when yet another argument broke out between the three, causing Vega to leave ringside with a look of disgust.

Andrade remained at ringside and that seemed to be an issue, as his presence led to Garza’s defeat after an Owen’s stunner. Zelina came back to ringside after the match was over with Andrade and Garza standing in the ring arguing. They would leave as a group, but clearly things are not smooth sailing with this trio.

The Street Profits and Viking Raiders teamed up to continue their battle from Sunday against Akira Tozawa and his team of ninjas. The Viking Profits, as they dubbed themselves, crushed the foot soldiers and picked up the pin fall without any trouble. Tozawa called in his heavy hitter, but to the surprise of everyone involved, the Big Show made an appearance to even up the size disparities, running off Tozawa and his henchmen.

Liv Morgan and Natalya teamed up to face former Women’s Tag Team champions, the IIconics. A miscue during the match led to Morgan getting double teamed and pinned in the center of the ring.

MVP continued to try to court Apollo Crews into his growing stable of clients, this time talking to the United States champion before his match for Shelton Benjamin. Crews did not give a solid answer, but he used some underhanded tactics to get the victory over Benjamin.

The Lashley and MVP saga did not end there, as they were paired together to face off against Drew McIntyre and R-Truth. Due to Truth’s misunderstandings, this match was a winner-take-all match where McIntyre could lose the WWE Championship without being involved in the decision. That would not be the case though, as McIntyre would keep his title when he and Truth would win via pin fall.

Asuka keeps her title Asuka and Nia Jax battled for the Raw Women’s Championship on Sunday and the match ended in a double-count out. They had a rematch on Monday to continue their long-standing rivalry. Jax would come very close to winning the title as she hit a massive Samoan drop on Asuka. She could not complete the pin with Asuka’s leg under the rope. Jax pushed the referee to the ground, which caused him to move to disqualify Jax. But before he could, Asuka rolled her up and the referee returned the favor with a quick count, helping Asuka keep the title around her waist.

For the first time since 2014, Christian stepped into a WWE ring with the plan to compete in an unsanctioned match against Randy Orton. On Sunday, Orton beat Christian’s former tag team partner, Edge at WWE Backlash. Orton used that to leverage Christian into a match even though Christian has not competed in an actual match due to significant injuries. Before the match could get started, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair came down to the ring to attempt to get Christian to reconsider. At least it seemed like that was the case when he would hit Christian with a low blow, setting him up for Orton to land the punt and get the victory. Christian was then taken out of the ring on a stretcher.

In the first edition of Monday Night Raw under Bruce Pritchard, wrestling fans were greeted with a show that featured throwback names and angles that seemed like those from years ago. With both Raw and SmackDown under Pritchard’s creative leadership it will be interesting to see where these shows go in the future.
