MEMO wishes to paint Israel as the evil perpetrator here, and of course, to do so, employs half-truths:

“But Tlaib, a US-born Palestinian-American, recounted how her grandmother, who lives in the occupied West Bank, told her not to visit under circumstances she considered humiliating”.

But MEMO don’t seem to recall that in another one of their articles, they stated how Muftia Tlaib was “still hopeful” her granddaughter would visit her, and that, I Quote: , “my heart still tells me she will come”.

Clearly, her grandmother still wanted her to come despite the “humiliating circumstances” “imposed” on her by Israel.
