Just a normal conversation.

"And a few minutes... I don't know how long after, I was on Facebook and I just saw this news that a Ukranian airplane crashed and I had no idea what airplane they were on. I just started getting worried.

Navas said that shortly afterwards she began Googling the departure time as that was the only information she knew.

"So I got really worried and then I called my mum in Iran and I think I woke her up - it was 8.30 in the morning. And I asked her, 'Mummy, mummy, just tell me what airline they were flying with?'

"And she got worried, of course, and she was asking 'What happened?' I was like, 'Mummy, I don't know. Just tell me the name of the airline. And as soon as she said it was the Ukraine airline I was starting to shake."

Her mum then proceeded to ask her what had happened and she told her that the Ukranian airline had crashed.

She also said that she had not been contacted by either the Foreign Office or British authorities.

"None," she said. "Of course I would like to hear the truth but nothing is going to change the fact that all of these beautiful souls are gone now."
