Subscribe Larry Vorpahl, group vice president and president of Hormel Foods International, is retiring from the company after a 34 year career. Lisa Selk was named vice president of meat products marketing for refrigerated foods at Hormel Foods following the retirement of Larry Vorpahl . He spent 34 years with the company in a variety of roles, most recently as group vice president and president of Hormel Foods International. Selk previously led Hormel Health Labs and the company’s CFI business, which are part of Hormel’s grocery products division. She fills a position previously held by Swen Neufeldt . He was elevated to the position previously held by Vorpahl.

Veteran supply chain executive Gustavo Ghory will become SVP and chief supply chain officer at Kimberly-Clark Corporation on July 1. Ghory spent nearly 36 years with Procter & Gamble, last serving as vice president of product supply global manufacturing before co-founding the SmarterChains consultancy in 2016. He will have g lobal responsibilities for procurement, manufacturing, transportation, continuous improvement, sustainability, and quality, safety and regulatory operations, reporting to CEO Mike Hsu .

Groupon executive David Jesse was named chief product officer at Fetch Rewards, an app that helps shoppers save on groceries and household essentials. Jesse spent eight years with Groupon and prior to that was with Gaia Interactive and eBay.

The sustainable food chain investment company of Paine Schwartz Partners named Renata Malavazz as general councel and chief compliance officer. She was previously a partner with the firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York. Paine Schwartz Partners is a private equity firm focused exclusively on investment opportunities in the global food and agribusiness sectors.

American Express and Citigroup executives have been nominated to join the J. M. Smucker Company board of directors. Susan Chapman-Hughes , EVP and global head, digital capabilities, transformation and operations, global commercial services for American Express Company, and Jodi Taylor , CFO of The Container Store, will stand for election at Smucker’s shareholders’ meeting on August 19. Chapman-Hughes and Taylor will fill seats vacated by board members Kathryn Dindo and Gary Oatey who are not standing for re-election.
