SPOKANE - Maple Street exit to First Ave has been blocked Monday night due to a one-vehicle wreck in Downtown Spokane.

Crews at the scene tell us the driver ran into the pole but is conscious and speaking with police.

Avoid the area; police say it might be a while until tow trucks get to the scene.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation at this time, but police suspect distracted driving could be a factor.
