NFL: Adam 'Pacman' Jones announces retirement

Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Adam 'Pacman' Jones has retired from the NFL. The 35-year-old announced his decision on Instagram. Jones received shoutouts from former Bengals' teammates on Instagram, including John Ross, George Illoka, Dre Kirkpatrick, A.J. Green and Chris Smith.

Jones, a first-round pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2005, made 68 starts and tallied 12 interceptions, six fumble recoveries and over 300 solo tackles over eight seasons with the Bengals from 2010-2017.

Jones was named a first-team All-Pro kick returner in 2014 and made the Pro Bowl in 2015. He ranks fourth all-time in franchise history in punt return yards (1,112) and first in yards per return (11.3). Jones still owns Cincinnati's last punt return touchdown, an 81-yard return in a 34-27 victory over the Cleveland Browns in 2012.
