Today’s entry in the do-we-have-to-whine-about-everything category: You may now sign a petition to “remake ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 with competent writers.” What a bunch of dopes.

I know, I know — the irony of someone complaining about someone complaining. But this little bit of idiocy is just the latest example of a group of fans not liking something, deciding that their opinion is the only one that’s valid (as opposed to, you know, the PEOPLE WHO CREATED THE THING) and then saying they want to make their own “correct” version.

Remember the “Remake the Last Jedi” campaign last year, in response to Rian Johnson’s film, which was actually quite good and imaginative in the way that it did not slavishly provide fanboy service at the expense of a good story?
