An estate agent has explained why a home that made people feel "ill" had a bizarre number of plug sockets.

The five-bedroom house in Pinner, North West London, went viral when social media users couldn't fathom the number of sockets in the living room.

Now, an agent has revealed why the living room had dozens of sockets on its walls.

It's understood the property was built by an "overzealous" builder who had a passion for TV and music.
