Auto racing: Ranking the Monaco Grand Prix, Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600

Sunday is the biggest day in the world of motor sports with three major events happening around the world - two of which are part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport. The day starts with Formula 1's Monaco Grand Prix on the picturesque Circuit de Monaco at 9:10 a.m. ET (ESPN). Not long after that is the 103rd Indianapolis 500, and the green flag is set to fly around 12:45 p.m. ET at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (NBC). And if you're not tired of racing by the time after those two iconic events, NASCAR's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET (FOX).

It's a wild day and a big deal in motor sports.

"I love Memorial Day Weekend. It's the chance for all of motor sports to shine," NASCAR driver Kurt Busch said earlier this month at Kansas Speedway. He's one of just four drivers to attempt what's known as the Memorial Day Double, competing in both the Indy 500 and Coke 600.

"I was always looking forward to getting the USA TODAY and seeing what they would put on there for Memorial Day Weekend in the sports section. It's like an unofficial weekend for motor sports to shine and it kind of kicks off summer."

With three major events on one day, For The Win's racing experts elected to rank them, and we easily agreed there is a correct order. So here is our official ranking of the Monaco GP, Indy 500 and Coke 600, based on their current formats, quality and watchability.

1. Indianapolis 500
