Leeds defender has joined Hearts on loan.
Leeds United defender Conor Shaughnessy has clinched a loan move away from the club.
Shaughnessy has joined Scottish side Hearts until the end of the season, a move which was completed on Monday.
The youngster has made 15 first team appearances for Leeds.
Shaughnessy sent a message out on Twitter expressing his 'delight' at the move. Delighted to have signed for Hearts til the end of the season! ❤️ https://t.co/VdTjibQrLz — Conor Shaughnessy (@Conor_shaughs) January 7, 2019
Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has not shown a great interest in Shaughnessy this season, selecting him only once.
A move away is beneficial to the Republic of Ireland under-21 international for him to get regular game time.
Shaughnessy burst onto the scene for Leeds in the latter half of 2017 but 2018 was a difficult, injury hit year, and now he has a fresh start.
