Jurgen Klopp has no plans to leave Liverpool for Real Madrid this summer.

The German is contracted to the Reds until 2022, but saw his name linked with the Real hotseat in the aftermath of the Spanish giants' embarrassing 4-1 defeat at home to Ajax on Tuesday that saw them tumble out of the Champions League, which they had won in four of the last five seasons.

The last of those four successes came against Klopp's Liverpool in May last year, but the German is in no hurry to leave Anfield for the side that conquered the Reds in Kiev. (Image: EMPICS Sport)

Klopp - who has also overseen lost finals of the Europa League and League Cup - is desperate to end Liverpool's 29-year wait for a league title success.

His side sit one point behind Manchester City with nine games of this season remaining.

But even if they don't end up winning the title this year, the former Borussia Dortmund boss is determined to finish the job he started when he took over from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015. Solari is under huge pressure (Image: SIPA USA/PA Images)

Liverpool have invested heavily in the transfer market over the past year, backing Klopp's plans to being in the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri.

They have helped the Reds to what looks to be their strongest league campaign since they last lifted the title, while they will also take on Bayern Munich - another suitor of Klopp's - in the Champions League 's last-16 next week. Like us on Facebook
