England will be hoping to seal the series when they take on Ireland in the 2nd of the ongoing 3-match ODI series in Southampton on Saturday. England are 1-0 up after their 6-wicket win in Southampton.

David Willey buried his World Cup disappointment and stormed back to form in the 1st ODI on Thursday, registering his career-best figures of 5/30 as England restricted Ireland to 172. Ireland batsmen looked rusty but debutant Curtis Campher scored a fifty and picked up a wicket but it wasn't enough to stop England from winning.

England had an ordinary start to their chase with big guns Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow and James Vince failing to get going but wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings and captain Eoin Morgan took them past the finish line with a 96-run stand.

As we look ahead to the 2nd ODI, we are quite clear with the choices to make for an ideal Dream 11 team. Ireland had some impressive performances and so picking a few Irish players in your team can help your case.

England vs Ireland, 2nd ODI Dream 11 best picks: Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Tom Banton, Sam Billings, Curtis Campher, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, David Willey, Andy McBrine, Saqib Mahmood.

Captain: Eoin Morgan

Vice-captain: Jason Roy

Batsmen

You can't go past England opener Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow. Can you? Put Eoin Morgan in the mix along with two talented youngsters in Tom Banton and Sam Billings. James Vince is a nice option as well if you're looking for more England players options.

Curtis Campher, who made a fifty on debut and picked up a wicket on Thursday, is a great pick too.

All-rounders

Moeen Ali did have a quiet day in the 1st ODI but picking the England off-spinner in your team is always a risk worth taking. Andy McBrine of Ireland shone with both the bat and the ball on Thursday.

Bowlers

After the 5-wicket haul, David Willey is definitely making your 11, isn't he? Saqib Mahmood had a good day as well while Craig Young impressed for Ireland. You're not going to go past Adil Rashid if you're looking for a frontline spinner.
