KEY MOMENT: England opener Jason Roy looked in good touch early in the day only to have a brain fade when he charged down the wicket to a Nathan Lyon delivery and was bowled as the hosts collapsed from 1-60 to 146 all out.

STAT OF THE DAY: Australia sealed their first win at Edgbaston since 2001 - the last time they secured the Ashes on English soil.
