Redmi K30 Pro set to launch in March without punch-hole display, teaser poster reveals

“Redmi K30 Pro specifications may include the Snapdragon 865 SoC, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and a 4,700mAh battery” Redmi K30 Pro is set to launch in March. A new teaser poster of the handset has been spotted on Weibo to confirm the March launch timeline, which is in line with a previous report . The Redmi K30 Pro will be an upgraded version of the Redmi K30 smartphone that was launched back in December with the Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Redmi K30 Pro is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 865 SoC and 5G support. Additionally, the teaser reveals the phone will not come with a punch-hole display, which means it will likely flaunt a pop-up selfie camera.

Redmi K30 Pro specifications While official confirmation still awaits, past rumours suggest the Redmi K30 Pro will sport an OLED display instead of an LCD panel as seen on the Redmi K30. It’s also tipped to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage.

Redmi K30 Pro is said to house a 4,700mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. In optics, the phone is tipped to sport the same 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, but the lens placement is said to be a little different from the one found on its younger sibling. The K30 Pro software out of the box should be Android 10-based MIUI 11.

As you may recall that the Redmi K30 was launched in India as the POCO X2 . It is unclear whether the Redmi K30 Pro will launch in India under the POCO brand, but it could be a possibility.
