Manchester United will assess Paul Pogba on Monday to determine whether he is fit to travel to Belgrade for their Europa League group game on Thursday.

Pogba has played in two of the last eight games due to a foot injury and spent over a week in Dubai, where he continued his recovery during the international break.

Axel Tuanzebe was selected to start against Liverpool on Sunday but pulled out of the line-up after suffering a hip strain in the warm-up and was replaced by Marcos Rojo for the 1-1 draw.

Jesse Lingard and Luke Shaw (both hamstring) were absent again and Nemanja Matic also missed out.

"I don't know how he is," Solskjaer said of Tuanzebe. "But hopefully Jesse is soon back, of course Anthony will be able to play more. We're gonna have a test on Paul tomorrow and see how he's at and how long it'll be before he's back. Luke? Not too long. So it's looking brighter and that's a big plus."

When Nemanja Matic was mentioned, Solskjaer replied: "He has played on with a little problem and he decided he couldn't play on anymore." Manchester United vs Liverpool reaction
