Now, the Oppo Reno 3 global variant specifications and design have been tipped to 91mobiles via reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal. As per the source, the vanilla Reno 3 will come a MediaTek Helio P90 SoC, 48MP quad camera setup and a 44MP selfie camera.
OPPO Reno 3 specifications The OPPO Reno 3 global model will feature the same notch-toting 6.4-inch Full-HD+ display, quad rear cameras, and gradient finish as the Chinese variant, and that’s where the similarities end. According to Agarwal, the global version of the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Helio P90 chipset instead of the Dimensity 1000L SoC that also supports 5G connectivity. Meanwhile, the quad rear camera setup will be downgraded from 64MP to 48MP. The upcoming variant is said to feature a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8, 13MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4, and 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4. The cameras will be backed by dual-LED flash, 4K video recording, and hybrid zoom.
On the other hand, OPPO will be upgrading the front camera of the Reno 3 from 32MP to a 44MP sensor. This was also the case for the Reno 3 Pro, which launched in India as the world’s first 44MP dual selfie camera phone. The vanilla Reno 3, however, will only feature a single 44MP selfie camera.
Oppo Reno 3 specifications will include a 4,025mAh battery, Android 10-based ColorOS 7, 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone is expected to sport an AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The OPPO Reno 3 will be available globally in three colour options: Sky White, Midnight Black, and Aurora Blue. It will measure 160.2 x 73.3 x 8mm and weigh 170 grams, as per the latest leak.
OPPO Reno 3 price for the global variant is expected to be unveiled during its launch. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on when and where the smartphone will launch. The OPPO Reno 3 Pro has been priced in India starting at Rs 29,990.
