Apple has scheduled a special event on December 2nd where it would be ‘honouring the best apps and games of 2019’. The tagline on the invite reads “Loved by millions. Created by the best.” Though Apple awarded the best apps and games annually in the past, too, this time, it seems to be a particular case as the Cupertino giant is hosting a press event. The much-rumoured October event never happened; instead, Apple announced the new MacBook Pro 16-inch and AirPods Pro through press releases. It remains to be seen if Apple would pull off a last-minute ‘One more thing’ surprise at its December 2nd event in time for the holiday season. We should know more information in the coming few days. Separately, Apple announced a new MacBook Pro last week and it flaunts a 16-inch IPS LED-backlit display with 3,072×1,920 pixels resolution. It comes with a f ull-sized backlit Magic keyboard with Touch Bar, Touch ID, Ambient light sensor, and Force Touch trackpad. The machine will be available in two models — 6-core Intel Core i7 with 2.6GHz clock speed (4.5GHz boost speed) and an 8-core Intel Core i9 processor with 2.3GHz clock speed (4.8GHz boost speed). The MacBook Pro packs up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, up to 8TB SSD, and up to AMD Radeon Pro 5000M graphics with up to 8GB of dedicated VRAM. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, four Thunderbolt 3 ports that support USB 3.1 2nd-gen, DisplayPort video output, 3.5mm headphone jack.
