UAAP champion Ateneo and University of Santo Tomas clash for the early lead in the Aspirants Group in the PBA D-League at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The Blue Eagles and Growling Tigers seek their third win at 2 p.m. in a match that also serves as a preview of what to expect when the UAAP season kicks off in September.

Both teams started their campaigns on the right foot by winning the first two games.
Ateneo beat Go for Gold-College of St. Benilde (103-75) and FamilyMart-Enderun (82-68) behind the contributions of Isaac Go and Tyler Tio.
UST, meanwhile, downed Batangas-Emilio Aguinaldo College (94-70) and AMA Online Education behind high school standout Mark Nonoy and Benin native Soulemane Chabi Yo.
Thirdy Ravena, fresh from participating in Gilas Pilipinas’ qualification to the FIBA World Cup, is expected to make his debut for Ateneo after missing the first two matches.
Meanwhile, Che’Lu Bar and Grill seeks its second straight win against College of St. Clare-Virtual Reality at 12 noon.
