Jeanette Panaga followed the footsteps of former Pocari Sweat teammate Myla Pablo by moving to another team at the start of next year’s Premier Volleyball League season.

The three-time best blocker awardee has been acquired by PetroGazz to fuel the team’s title campaign.

“It’s a hard decision because almost all of the teams are dedicated to helping Philippine volleyball grow. Their investment is really a major help to the players,” said Panaga in Filipino in a statement released by her agency, Virtual Playground through its talent head Mark Salamat.

“I’m leaving everything up to Him. And He leads me to PetroGazz,” she added.

With the move, Panaga will reunite with Djanel Cheng, Rachel Austero and Ranya Musa – her teammates in College of St. Benilde where they form the core that won the NCAA women’s title in 2016.

Last week, Motolite bought out Pablo’s remaining three-year contract from Pocari Sweat to also bolster its lineup for next season.
