Metro League: Taguig blows out Manila by 49 points

Taguig scored the biggest blowout of the ongoing Metro League Reinforced Conference with a 123-74 home win against Manila at the Hagonoy Sports Complex on Tuesday night.

The Generals went on an offensive juggernaut in the first half, dropping 83 points on the Stars while opening a 38-point advantage.

Taguig then turned to its defense in the second half, limiting Manila to just 29 points in the final 20 minutes en route to the 49-point rout.

Jonathan Uyloan scored 24 points, two rebounds, six assists, and four steals for the Generals.

Emman Ojuola added 22 points, 10 rebounds, and one assist.

Carlo Lastimosa fired 21 markers and three boards off the bench for the Stars.
