Lisa Armstrong had a great time in the company of her friends.

The former wife of Ant McPartlin, 42, posted a picture of herself enjoying an al-fresco dinner on Instagram over the weekend.

Lisa could be seen smiling in the image as she sat at a bench, surrounded by her friends.

The blonde put on a leggy display for her evening out as she slipped into a black dress teamed with wedged shoes.

She styled her pixie-cut locks out of her face and ensured she continued her glamorous look by wearing large gold-hooped earrings.

Lisa's downtime comes after she paid a tearful tribute to her late father as she marked four months since his tragic death this week.

Lisa added a row of crying emojis to her heartfelt post which was accompanied with a picture of her dad seemingly enjoying himself on a sun-drenched holiday.

The cosmetic guru has been throwing herself into work behind the scenes on Strictly as she continued to distract herself from another tough year.

They were set to come face-to-face for the first time this year after Ant went public with his new relationship with their PA Anne-Marie Corbett just three months after announcing he and Lisa were separating.

The exes were supposed to meet last November at London's Royal Courts of Justice but he failed to show and was ticked off by the judge.

"Ant is really keen on drawing a line under everything and moving on with his life. The meeting is part of that process," an insider told the Sunday Mirror earlier this month.

"At the end of the day, he is really in love with Anne-Marie and just wants to get the divorce over and done with. They are both adults and it's hopeful things are resolved soon."

The warring exes have been through a rocky time since their split, with Lisa left reeling when Ant revealed he'd started a relationship with her friend Anne-Marie.

She was then dropped from her job as a freelance makeup artist on Britain's Got Talent when bosses ruled it would be "untenable" for her and Ant to work together.
