Luisita Golf Club struggled at the short and tricky Baguio Country Club, but still held on to a nine-point lead over Manila Southwoods going into the final round of the 69th Fil-Am Invitational golf tournament presented by San Miguel Corp. in Baguio Wednesday.
After scoring 125 and 124 at the Camp John Hay, the Tarlac-based squad could only manage 102 points behind Chino Raymundo (28), Rodel Mangulabnan (27), Eddie Bagtas (26) and Raffy Garcia 21.
With 342 points was Megafiber which leaned on Rolly Viray (28), Mari Hechanova (27), Abraham Rosal (24) and Dave Hernandez (24).
Manila Southwoods was in third spot with 337 and Okinawa fourth with 297.
Meanwhile, Mighty Sandigans topped the Fil-C division with 310 points, edging Eaglemasters (292) and Guam Kool Swingers (289).
In the Senior Am-C class, Baguio Country Club came out on top with 349 followed by Davao Eaglemasters (346) and Hillsiders Baguio (335).
