Published January 19, 2019, 7:30 AM Alab Pilipinas leaned on Renaldo Balkman and PJ Ramos to turn back the Macau Black Bears, 106-99, in the ASEAN Basketball League held Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Balkman finished with a game-high 37 points to go with nine rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Ramos backed him up with a double-double performance, 21 points, and 14 caroms. Ray Parks Jr. also had a double-double of his own, finishing with 13 points and 10 assists.

Last Monday, Alab suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Formosa Dreamers after Taiwan’s Hsuei-Lin Lee hit the game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds of that match. It was their second of the tournament.
