Tuesday at the Feroz Shah Kotla was no different. As Chennai Super Kings marched to another victory, a couple of fans got past the security to touch Dhoni's feet.

On Tuesday, Dhoni scored a 32 not out to guide Chennai Super Kings to a 6-wicket win over home team Delhi Capitals and went on top of the IPL 2019 table after two games.

Dhoni, who had a brilliant IPL last season, continued in the same vein by being the middle order glue and guiding the innings for the success of Chennai Super Kings.

Recently, there have been two instances of fans getting past the security to meet Dhoni - it happened once in Hamilton during India's series against New Zealand and the other time in Nagpur during India's match against Australia. Virat Kohli has openly spoken about safety fears with fans breaching security regularly but Dhoni has usually been seen acknowledging them.

On Tuesday, a couple of fans breached the Feroz Shah Kotla security and came and touched Dhoni's feet.

While a legion of CSK fans and Dhoni fans around the world cheered for the former skipper, his daughter Ziva Dhoni was also seen cheering her father aloud.

As Dhoni walked out to bat after the fall of Suresh Raina's wicket, Ziva was seen screaming, "Pap , come on Papaaaa".

After beating Delhi Capitals, Dhoni accepted that CSK is not very strong in the fielding department but said the team can cover that up with the amount of experience in its ranks.

"I don't think we will be a very good fielding side, but we will be a safe fielding side. You don't want the XI to push too hard and get injured. We might bleed a few runs and make up for that with experience. We haven't done well at the death, so plenty of areas to work on, but still a good victory," Dhoni said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
