Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that seeing Liverpool win the Premier League title has ‘hurt’ himself and the club. United boss Solskjaer has stood by David De Gea, despite the Spain international making a series of costly mistakes this season.

And he’s likely to remain the club’s No 1 next term.

It’s probable that United will send Dean Henderson out on loan again. Ideally that would be to Sheffield United, where he’s impressed for the past two years.

Sergio Romero would then be kept on for another 12 months.

And Lee Grant could continue to do the same, although United also have Matej Kovar and Nathan Bishop capable of playing between the sticks.
