And they will want to maintain that gap with another win over West Ham this week, although squad management will be key as the games continue to come thick and fast.

Lampard has a couple of new fitness concerns to worry about, with star winger Christian Pulisic the most pressing after the American limped off with a tight calf against Leicester.

Chelsea will be loathe to lose the 21-year-old, who has scored twice in his past three outings, but may not risk him here with bigger games ahead - even if Pulisic is passed fit to feature.

Meanwhile, Andreas Christensen was excellent against Man City but a hip problem forced him to miss the win over Leicester and the Dane may be another who sits out the trip across London - although he has been included in the squad.
