Chelsea news: Marina Granovskaia tipped to follow Kai Havertz with three sales

Chelsea are edging ever closer to completing a club-record deal to sign Kai Havertz this summer and Danny Murphy believes that will be followed by three midfielders leaving Stamford Bridge. On Havertz signing, Murphy believes the Germany international will come in and fill the role Frank Lampard was renowned for during his playing days.

"Chelsea don't have enough goals from midfield, he scores goals from midfield and makes goals," he added.

"Chelsea have missed somebody in the middle of the park who gets forward and scores goals since Frank.

"Although it might be over-inflated - the price - because he's only had a season-and-a-half of playing really well, but sometimes you have to beat the opposition in terms of getting your man."
