The 21-year-old, dubbed 'Captain America', was signed as Hazard's replacement last year, but has struggled with injuries in his first year at the club.
Now, however, he has broken back into the team in recent weeks, and scored a brilliant goal in Chelsea's 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
His explosive speed and trickery when taking on defenders has earned him comparisons to Hazard, widely regarded as one of the club's best-ever players.

Speaking to ESPN FC , Burley was full of praise for Pulisic and described him as a "huge talent".
However, he claimed that because Hazard carried the Blues on his back for so long, it is too soon to start putting Pulisic in the same conversation.
Burley also warned the young American that if his form drops next season, he could find himself out of the side and replaced by either Callum Hudson-Odoi or new signing Timo Werner.

"He's a multiple league winner, and a hugely talented Belgian international.

"There's no guarantee that come next season with all the new players coming in that he'll get all the game time he needs.
"All he needs is two or three quiet games, and any manager worth his salt will have Hudson-Odoi in, or he'll have Werner on the left, or Mason Mount.
"I think we need to go slowly with Christian Pulisic, it's a learning curve for him, he's doing great at the moment, but you can't compare him to a player who literally carried one of the biggest teams in the Premier League for a few seasons."
