Arsenal transfer news: Gunners make Matteo Guendouzi decision after adopting fresh stance

Arsenal are set to offer up Matteo Guendouzi in player exchange deals in the upcoming summer transfer market, as the Gunners are strapped for cash and will target cheaper options. That's according to a report in the Daily Mail , which claims the Gunners are willing to part ways with the Frenchman after Mikel Arteta dropped him from the side.

The midfielder was involved in an altercation with Brighton's Neal Maupay during last weekend's 2-1 defeat at the AMEX.

Despite escaping punishment, he found himself dropped by Arteta for the trip to Southampton, and wasn't involved in the FA Cup win over Sheffield United.

Guendouzi reportedly took up the matter with Gunners chiefs and demanded a transfer, but was turned down.
