Renault Triber revealed: Exterior Design Highlights Renault Triber revealed: Exterior Design Highlights June 20, 2019, 07:45 AM IST by Bilal Ahmed Firfiray 10001 Renault has taken the wraps off the highly anticipated Triber MPV. The newest seven-seater from the French carmaker will be launched in a couple of months' time. The Triber is the outcome of joint efforts between Renault's teams in India and France. According to the carmaker, the exterior design of the Triber is unique, modern and attractive, combining dynamism and sturdiness in its less-than-four-meter length while offering best level roominess. Let us take a detailed look at the exterior design of the all-new Triber.

Family resemblance:

Appearance wise, the Triber has adopted a familiar Renault face. The Kwid inspiration is seen in the headlights which blend gracefully in with the characteristic Renault grille. There are skid plates on the front bumper while the sleek fog lamps get a black and chrome combination around it. The bonnet creases and body cladding are also akin to the Kwid.

There’s even an indicator on the front fender integrated into the side cladding. The projector headlamps are complemented by LED day-time-running lights.

European silhouette:

In profile the Renault Triber takes its cues from the European cars like the Kangoo. The lower half of the silhouette isn’t dissimilar to the Kwid either with door mounted cladding. And the weird kink on the C-pillar definitely grabs attention.

The roofline dips a little towards the end and the added roof rails lend a robust appeal to the sub-four-metre MPV. Yes, the Renault Triber measures just under four metres in length. And it has an impressive ground clearance of 182mm. What’s more, the MPV sits on 15-inch alloy wheels which gel well with the overall looks. And these alloys are wrapped in 165/80R14 profile CEAT Fuelsmart tyres.

Megane-like rear:

The tail lamp design is called as Eagle beak and is very similar to the one seen on the Mégane hatchback. The wraparound design tapers towards the centre of the tailgate where the TRIBER logo is decorated across the strip joining both the lamps.

The SUV-like skid plates extending up to the bumper, spoiler mounted brake light and the large tailgate complete the design at the back. The all-new Renault Triber is expected to be priced between Rs 5-7 lakhs.
