Steph Curry Makes Sneakers For Girls

t is exhausting to live in the world right now. It feels like everything is burning down around us, because, well... it actually kind of is. Which is why it's not just nice but downright reinvigorating when someone does an actual good thing that we can all enjoy.

Low bar? Damn right it is. But Steph Curry sailed way the hell over it this week with his response to a 9-year-old girl who wrote him to ask why his signature Curry 5 sneakers weren't listed in the Girls section of Under Armour's website.

Here's the breakdown. Riley from Napa wrote to Curry because she's a Warriors fan and wanted to get a pair of his sneakers for her new basketball season. But when she went to the Under Armour site with her dad, they could only find small sizes in the Boys section. So she shot Curry a note. And he wrote back!

"Unfortunately, we have labeled smaller sizes as 'boys' on the website," he tells her, after explaining he's been discussing this with the UA team for two days. "We are correcting this now !" He also lets Riley know he's sending her a pair of Curry 5s, that she's first in line for the 6, and that she should plan to be in Oakland on March 8 for a special event tied to International Women's Day.

The Curry 5 is, indeed, now available in the Girls section of the Under Armour website. Three styles are listed as best sellers.

Riley, Steph: Thank you. This is freakin' heartwarming.
