Quentin Tarantino Might Have Let Slip What His Last Film Will Be

With Quentin Tarantino seemingly sticking to his pledge to stop making films after his 10th — and Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood being his ninth — there's a lot riding on what he decides to turn his hand to next. Another original written and directed by Tarantino himself, as per tradition? A sequel? That Star Trek instalment he keeps mentioning?

He might just have given the game away though: he's been thinking about adding another volume to the Kill Bill series, and might already have chatted about it with The Bride herself.

"I just so happened to have dinner with Uma Thurman last night," Tarantino told Sirius XM. "We were at a really cool Japanese restaurant. She was bragging about me, and I was bragging about her. It was a lovely night."

But do you have an idea of what you'd do with Kill Bill Vol. 3, Quentin? "Well, I do have an idea about what I would do [with Kill Bill 3]," Tarantino said. When pressed, he didn't give up much in the way of detail, other than to start talking like a grizzled 1890s gold prospector.

"What happened to The Bride since [Kill Bill 2]? I wouldn’t want to come up with some cockamamie adventure. She doesn’t deserve that!"

It's not particularly imminent either.

"I wouldn't actually do it for a little bit," Tarantino said. "It would be at least three years from now. But it’s definitely on the cards."
