NYC and LA skincare hotspot Heyday to open in Pa.

Does your skin need a pick-me-up? A new store is aiming to provide just that.

Heyday offers personalized skincare services -- namely facials. There are three options to choose from, a 30 minute facial for $65, 50 minute one for $95 and 75 minute one for $140. Facials can include microdermabrasion, LED light therapy, gua sha and peels.

The new store will open on Oct. 16 at 1735 Chestnut St. in the Rittenhouse neighborhood of Philadelphia.

You won’t find a long menu of services at Heyday. Instead, the skin therapists at Heyday will meet with customers to determine what services are best suited for them. They then use products that come from brands such as Supergoop!, Image Skincare and Nautropathica. The licensed estheticians will also share tips and tricks for dealing with customer’s individual skin problems.

There are also membership plans available at Heyday. Memberships include 10 percent off of products and facials, $5 off of enhancements and “occasional surprises,” per the Heyday website. Plans range from $76 a month (which includes a 50 minute facial on one month and 30 minute facial the next month) to $130 a month (which includes a 75 minute facial every month).

Heyday has been steadily growing in the Los Angeles and New York markets. The Philadelphia store will be the company’s first foray into Pennsylvania. But it’s not unfamiliar with the Keystone State -- founders Adam Ross and Michael Pollak both graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.

Heyday is just the latest store opening in Philadelphia. The City of Brotherly Love just welcomed its largest retail project in decades: The Fashion District.
