Yeah now that their plan to sell customer data to theaters and offset the price discounts has fallen through, they gotta make their money direct from customers or they go under. Which means this ain’t gonna be a good deal. It can’t be. MoviePass is not getting a discount from theaters. If they pay full price for tickets, their subscribers pay full price plus an upcharge to keep the lights on at MoviePass or MoviePass go bye-bye. No free lunch.
