Bette Midler geeft een persconferentie in het city-theater in Amsterdam vanwege de film Divine Madness Jan. 24 1989 Bette Midler and Judith Light will both guest star in Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s Netflix musical comedy series “The Politician,” joining several previously announced Members of the Tribe.
Ben Platt, Tony winner for Broadway’s “Dear Evan Hansen,” stars in the titular role of Payton Hobart, a Santa Barbara high school student whose dreams include becoming student body president, getting into Harvard and occupying the White House one day.
The cast also includes Zoey Deutch, Bob Balaban and Gwyneth Paltrow, who guest-starred in the producers’ “Glee” and is now married to Falchuk. First, she’ll reprise her role as Pepper Potts in “Avengers: Endgame,” opening April 26.
Midler will star opposite Sharon Stone in the comedy “The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife,” and Light, who won her fourth Emmy for “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” in 2018, will return for the final season of Amazon Prime’s “Transparent” later this year.
“The Politician” will premiere Sept. 27 on Netflix.
