The Intercollegiate Tennis Association revealed its list of all-academic teams and scholar-athletes, and both IU's men's and women's teams saw a number of players on it.

ITA all-academic teams have a team GPA of 3.20 or higher. ITA scholar-athletes must meet the following criteria: be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4-point scale for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

The women's team earned the ITA All-Academic Team honor and had four student-athletes selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The ITA Scholar-Athletes were junior Michelle McKamey, senior Anna McCoy and recently graduated Madison Appel and Natalie Whalen.

"I'm proud of our student-athletes for their academic accomplishments this year," women's tennis Head Coach Ramiro Azcui said. "They work hard work on and off the court, and it is nice to see them get recognized."

On the men's side, the Hoosiers earned the ITA All-Academic Team honor and had a record eight student-athletes selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The men's list includes sophomores Carson Haskins and Vikash Singh, junior Andrew Redding, seniors Payam Ahmadi, Zac Brodney, Bennett Crane and William Piekarsky and recently graduated Antonio Cembellin.
