Starting center Thomas Bryant was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right foot after feeling foot pain during Sunday’s game against the Clippers. The Wizards said he will be reevaluated in three weeks.
Fellow big man Moritz Wagner is dealing with an ankle sprain and missed Tuesday’s game, and with Ian Mahinmi yet to make his season debut due to a strained Achilles, the Wizards have played this week without a healthy natural center on the roster.
And forward C.J. Miles, acquired last summer from Memphis, had surgery on his left wrist Wednesday. The Wizards haven’t given a timetable for his return, but the Washington Post reported that Miles may miss the rest of the season. Sign up for Daily Newsletters
