Detroit Pistons to hold open practice at Breslin Center on Saturday

Blake Griffin and the Detroit Pistons are using Michigan State's Breslin Center as the home for their training camp this week. And while the Pistons are conducting drills in East Lansing the next few days, the public will have a chance to get a glimpse of Griffin, Andre Drummond, new addition Derrick Rose and the rest of the team. The Pistons announced Tuesday afternoon that the second half of Saturday's practice at Breslin will be open to the public. Doors to the Breslin are scheduled open at 11 a.m. Training camp officially began for the Pistons at Breslin on Tuesday. This marks the second straight season the Pistons will be spending part of their preseason in East Lansing. The Pistons played an exhibition game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Breslin last October. The Pistons are owned by MSU alum Tom Gores. Contact Brian Calloway at bcalloway@lsj.com.
