10 eventual free agents who could change the shape of the NBA

With the NBA looking increasingly likely to resume the 2019-20 season, we should soon be treated to one of the most wide-open title chases in recent memory. The league’s newfound parity may not last for long, though.

Over the next few seasons, a number of superstars will hit the free-agent market, including reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and four-time MVP LeBron James . If any of them leave their respective teams, they could single-handedly reshape the balance of the NBA.

Could one of these stars form a new Big Three with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the Brooklyn Nets? Could James and Anthony Davis lure a third star to the Los Angeles Lakers? Will Antetokounmpo leave the Milwaukee Bucks in disarray if they can’t win a title either this season or next? How long will Leonard and Paul George remain with the Los Angeles Clippers?
