One Nation to block WA govt lobster grab

One Nation will vote down a controversial plan by the West Australian government to take a share of the nation's most valuable fishery.

The McGowan government proposal for the state to grab a 17.5 per cent share of WA's annual rock lobster catch has prompted a furious response from industry.

WA's three One Nation's members will vote to support a disallowance motion - to block the legislation - when it reaches the upper house, South West MLC Colin Tincknell told 6PR on Friday.
