A former teacher will face court after he was accused of indecently assaulting a student at a primary school in Sydney's southwest.

Police say the 32-year-old, who's previously been arrested over abuse allegations, was arrested at a South Nowra correctional facility in November.

Officers had received a report of another student being indecently assaulted.

The man is expected to face Nowra Local Court on Monday charged with procuring a child under 16 for sexual activity and indecent assault of a person under 16.
