Hanson cyber-squats on enemy's domain

Pauline Hanson's One Nation has registered two web domain names relating to former party member Fraser Anning.

Senator Anning is seeking to register the party name Fraser Anning's Conservative National Party ahead of the federal election.

However, the web addresses www.conservativenationals.com.au and www.fraseranningconservativenationals.com.au refer people to the One Nation sign-up page.

A check of the two sites' registration details show they are registered to an Alex Jones, who has a One Nation HQ email address.

"It's a new low for One Nation," Senator Anning wrote on Twitter.

A spokesman for Senator Anning said it appeared Senator Hanson was "starting to panic" as her party collapsed around her.

"Everywhere Senator Anning goes, he meets former One Nation supporters who have become disillusioned with Pauline and now want to support him," the spokesman said.

The Australian Electoral Commission has received objections to Senator Anning's party name from the already-registered Australian Conservatives, the Nationals and the Liberal National Party.

Comment was being sought from Senator Hanson.
