Jeremy Clarkson has branded teenage environmental activist Greta Thunberg 'mad and dangerous' in another public attack on her.
The 59-year-old Grand Tour presenter has railed against Thunberg before and his latest rant on TV has seen him urge her to "go back to school and shut up".
Clarkson was promoting the latest series of Amazon's Grand Tour on Australia's breakfast show, Sunrise, when he launched his attack on the 16-year-old eco-warrior from Sweden.
The former Top Gear has long been a critic of global warming, though he has said shooting in southeast Asia has led to him having a change of heart about the issue. Despite this, Clarkson was happy to launch into a stinging attack on Thunberg when asked about her on the Aussie show.
Clarkson said about the climate change campaigner: "She's mad and she's dangerous and she's causing young children sleepless nights with her idiocy.
"No, I think she needs to go back to school and shut up."

In the interview, Clarkson was at a heightened state of anger, saying: "I think she's a weird Swede with a bad temper. He went on to say that climate change has been on the agenda for a long time but now "there's that weird Swede running around making all sorts of 'we're going to die' noises, so we're all aware of it."
Despite this, Clarkson admitted during the Sunrise interview that he had witnessed the effect of climate change first hand.

Clarkson said: "I don't think I've ever actually seen the effects of global warming. When you see those houses on stilts on the show - 40 to 50 feet - and the water is miles away.
"And then you think, 'the water's supposed to be up there this time of year and it's down there.' It's unbelievable.
"So that's a remarkable thing and I know there'll be a load of kids saying, 'ha! You see. There you are!'
"That's fine. Now go to school. Learn science and do something about it."
