Fuel price hike set on April 9 | Inquirer News

MANILA, Philippines – Fuel pump prices are scheduled to increase on Tuesday, April 9.

Diesel will increase by 20 centavos per liter, gasoline by 25 centavos per liter and kerosene by 10 centavos per liter. ADVERTISEMENT

Shell and Seaoil have announced the price increases.

Last week, prices of the Asian bellwether Dubai crude surged to $66.98 per barrel as of April 4 from $66.93 on April 1.

Likewise, the de facto global benchmark Brent crude has breached the $70 mark, trading at $70.54 per barrel on April 7 from $69.01 on April 1. / gsg
