3 smart ways Trump can disrupt health care and drive down costs

We need transparent pricing, that is why every health care provider should display out side of its facilities the % it charges over Medicare costs if you pay your bills immediately (cash, credit card, check or kidney). Next, the US government should start producing its own generic drugs to reduce costs to Medicare and Medicaid and of course make those likely cheaper drugs available to the general public through an on-line pharmacy. Lastly, make video conferencing with a physician more readily available so that for simple things you can just video conference with a health care professional and get your prescriptions. That would come at a much lower cost than visiting your physician. So three nice and easy things that can be done and all would reduce health care costs. Of course the most important thing would be for the government to offer a generic health care plan that covers the vast majority of illnesses sort of like what Oregon did with its Medicaid system where they would not approve procedures that cost more than a $40,000 threshold. Make that available in every state and just watch how fast some insurance companies lower their prices.
